What the TXT transcript removes

SRT sequence numbers and timestamps are removed so the spoken words read as clean paragraphs. Cue order and intentional line breaks remain, making the file useful for notes, summaries, search, and editorial work.

When to retain subtitle timing

Keep the original SRT if a video player still needs timing. If the destination is HTML video, use SRT to VTT; if you need a printable review copy, choose the PDF output from the Subtitle Converter.
